Christian and Nada live in the United States, in Pennsylvania. Christian is a computer technician, and Nada teaches a second grade class at a local school. The two of them married right after college graduation last June, and are now gainfully employed. The two of them are very happy together, and they can't wait to start a family.

Year 1: Job--pay raise
About a year after Christian started working for an up-and-coming computer firm, he was given a substantial pay raise! He and Nada are using some of the extra money to help pay off their college bills--and put a down payment on a new car!

Year 2: Job--promotion
Christian and his boss seem to get along really well, in Nada's opinion. She wasn't surprised when he came home one day and told her he had gotten a promotion! His official title is now, "Junior Database Engineer". Christian is in his element, and he is very happy with what he does.

Year 3: Pet--dog
For Nada's 25th birthday, Christian decided that he was going to get her a dog. Nada's favorite type of dog has always been spaniels, so Christian found a specialty adoption group and adopted a Brittany Spaniel named Meeko. Meeko is a lively spaniel and he keeps both Christian and Nada on their toes. Meeko is a four year old male.

Year 4: Birth--girl, induced, Biblical FN, Chinese/Indian/Hawaiian MN
Just a few months after they got Meeko, Nada surprised Christian by telling him that she was pregnant! Their daughter was born two weeks late, and Nada had to be induced, but on the bright side--they were more than ready for her arrival. Christian named her Abigail Leilani Campbell. Abbie is a healthy baby, and Nada couldn't be more proud to be a mother.

Year 5: Birth--boy, uneventful, nature FN, random renamer MN
Christian and Nada never dreamed that they'd have another baby so soon after Abbie, but just four months after she was born, Nada was pregnant again! Their little boy was born a day before his due date, and Abbie is pretty curious about him. His name is Dylan Gabriel Campbell.

Year 6: Random--go back to college
To go further in his field, Christian was advised to go back to school and get a master's degree in computer science. He has decided to go back to college--taking one or two classes at a time. Balancing work, family, and school all at the same time has been difficult and has put a bit of a strain on the family financially, but Christian is confident that in a few years, it'll all be worth it.

Year 7: Job--hours cut
For the past year, Nada has been teaching full time and sending Abbie and Dylan to daycare. She really wanted more time at home with them, so she decided to cut back on the hours she worked by retiring as a full time teacher and accepting a part-time substitute contract at another local school district. Nada has found that she misses her kids in class, but wouldn't trade it for spending time with her own two children.

Year 8: Random--Pet--dog
Meeko is getting a little older now, and Christian has wanted to get another dog for a few years now. For Christmas, he and Nada got Abbie and Dylan an English Springer Spaniel. She is three years old and a lovely brown and white color. Her name is Ginger, and Meeko gets along pretty well with her. Abbie loves her "new doggie", and Dylan says he likes Meeko better.

Year 9: Birth--you choose, parent takes off for year, random renamer FN, color/gemstone MN
Erin Rose Campbell joined the family this year! Nada didn't find out she was pregnant until she was nearly six months along, but everyone was excited about the new baby. Abbie loves having a little sister, while Dylan wishes it was a brother. He and Christian have been having some "boys only" time, and Dylan seems to enjoy that. Erin was born two days after her due date, and after talking it over with Christian, Nada decided to take a year off from substituting to be a full-time mommy.

Year 10: Adoption--Australia/NZ, boy, 11 or 12 yo
Two years ago, one of Nada's friends adopted a son from New Zealand. It has worked out so well, and Nada and Christian have seen the huge impact they've had on each other's lives. After discussing it with their little ones, they decided to adopt a son from New Zealand as well. They were matched with Michael Timoti, an eleven year old boy who was orphaned several years ago. Mikey loves kids, and he liked Abbie, Dylan, and Erin right away. Christian and Mikey have also developed a close bond because they share many of the same interests.

Year 11: family affair--accomplish lifelong dream
This year, Christian accomplished a goal of his by finishing up his master's degree, six years after he started it. He was also offered a promotion that lets him use his new skills. He is very happy with his new degree, and his new position.

Year 12: Adoption--United States, two girls, 13 or 14 and 11 or 12
After adopting Mike, Christian and Nada decided to try adopting kids within their own country. They adopted sisters from Eastern Ohio, Sarah and Chrissie. Sarah is twelve, and Chrissie is thirteen. The girls have begun to adjust to their new life, but it hasn't been too easy. The girls had a rough life in the past, and they're trying hard to transition. Abbie is enjoying having older sisters.

Year 13: Pet--lizard/amphibian
Mike, now fourteen, wanted only one thing for his birthday--an iguana. Nada didn't think it was a good idea, but Christian convinced her to let him get one--after all Mike is very responsible for a teenage boy. Mike was elated when he walked into the living room on his birthday and saw a six month old female iguana. He named her Harley and won't let anyone else hold her. Unfortunately this year, Meeko passed away. He was fourteen years old and had a good life. Ginger is distraught by his disappearance, and Nada has been thinking about getting another dog to ease her mind.

Year 14: Birth--girl, uneventful, Mythology FN, random renamer MN
Christian and Nada certainly didn't expect to add another baby to the family, but Sarah, Chrissie, and Abbie were excited about the prospect of a new baby. Elaine Kalani Campbell was born four days early, but healthy and surrounded by family. Lainey is a good baby, and she never lacks for an audience to smile and coo for.

Year 15: Birth--multiples, twin girls, move to bigger house, word FN, mythology MN/color, gemstone FN, mythology MN
Six months after Lainey's birth, Nada found out she was pregnant again--with twins! The family was contemplating a move to a bigger house at the time, and the pregnancy just sealed the deal. Christian and Nada purchased a six bedroom house with an attached suite for Mike, who is preparing for college now. Sarah hasn't decided whether or not she wants to go to college, but Christian and Nada will support her whatever her decision. Brooke Rhiannon Campbell and Sienna Victoria Campbell were born almost two weeks early, but after a few days in the hospital, they were cleared to come home.
