You almost got me with the nn darling Lindy. And I love many, many frumpy and whimsical names. But I can't get the dreaded Clarissa (~~shudders~~) out of my mind. She casts a long, ugly shadow for me. It's a personal quirk. I've just always hated the name Clarissa. So Clarinda is out of luck with me, sorry.
I know that's not fair to poor Clarinda. So I'll think about it with an open mind and see if I can't get Clarinda into a better place.
