Nico isn't really my style. I think it's better as a nickname. It feels insubstantial on its own.
I like Nicodemo and Nicholas best as full names for Nico.
I like Nico better than Niko.
When I hear Nico, I automatically think of an Italian mobster. lol. That's just my weird association though.

Haha. I think it's because I once read a story where a character named Nico was in the mafia. So now I can't get that association out of my head. lol.
