[Opinions] Desmond or Rhys?
Which would you choose:Desmond Jorgen/Desmond Rhys
or
Rhys Owen
I'm due in April. I adore Rhys, and my husband loves Desmond. He's willing to go either way, but I know he still has a soft spot for Desmond.
Also, we have a daughter named Heidi.

I strongly prefer Rhys. I love the way it looks and sounds. Desmond isn't really my thing but I admit that Des is pretty cool. So my vote is for either Rhys Owen or Desmond Rhys.

I really like both names. Desmond Rhys and Rhys Owen are excellent combos. The flow of Desmond Jorgen is a bit off.Going with Desmond Rhys would allow you to use both Desmond and Rhys. Either Desmond or Rhys would work with Heidi, but I think that Rhys goes with Heidi a bit better.

I love both, but would use Rhys in a heartbeat, it's so handsome and gorgeous. I think Rhys and Heidi go amazing together too.I say Rhys Owen, with the backup of Desmond Rhys.

Congratulations! You can't go wrong with either one. They are both handsome classics that will serve your son well throughout his life. Desmond is my #2 favorite name for a boy and has been for years. I love it because my parents had a friend from Ireland named Desmond (called Des). The sound of Des has been imprinted in my heart. Plus, it means "from Munster / southern Ireland" which is where my family is from so you can see how biased I am. That said, I still think Desmond sounds more like a name for a grown-up than Rhys. Rhys is great for high school. But Desmond is great for the office. So I vote for Desmond Rhys. :-)
