The first time I came across Aglaia, I pronounced it ə-GLAY-ə. I love the way it looks, but it reminds me of the word "ugly" when it's pronounced ə-GLAY-ə, which is unfortunate because if it weren't for that, I'd be all for it. ə-GLIE-ə seems more usable. In either case, she could go by Aggie if people around her were having trouble remembering her name.
ag-LAY-a or ag-LIE-a. I don't see why not, it's quite pretty.
I pronounce it a-GLAY-uh.
I definitely think it's useable.

I pronounce it uh-GLEYE-ah, to rhyme with Maia. I think it's perfectly usable.
I've always said uh-GLIE-uh.
uh-GLAY-uh
uh-GLAY-uh
uh-GLAY-uh
I pronounce it ah-GLIE-yah. It's definitely useable, but I don't know if I *would* use it. It sounds too clunky.
I'd say "uh-GLIE-uh".
I don't think it's difficult to pronounce or spell, so yes, I think it's usable.

I'd say ag-LIE-a. Definitely usable because the only other possible pronunciation I could imagine people thinking it was is ag-LAY-a, and that's an easy correction. (Unless I'm the one who needs to be corrected?) :P
I'd pronounce it ah-GLAY-uh
It sounds like "Ugly-a" :/

That's what I thought when I first read the name. It sounds way too much like
Ugly-a, unfortunately, to be usable.

Ah-glay-uh.
I love it. Used it for my cat. It's so pretty, such a nice meaning, and cute nn (Aggie).
It's definitely useable IMO, would be thrilled to meet a little Aglaia.

It's ah-GLAH-yah here (the last part is between yah and eeah), no idea about English. Generally I think that if you have to ask how to pronounce it, it's best not to use it.
The site says that Aglaia is ə-GLAY-ə or ə-GLIE-ə in English.

Well I pronounce it "ah-GLAY-ah" but was just trying to find out how others would intuitively say it
You asked if it was usable, and I think that in real life it's best to avoid names where more pronunciations are possible or where you're not sure (but then I don't get the creative spelling craze either, so...).

I would generally follow this logic but in reality there are several names I like which could conjure more than one pronunciation (Philippa, Sela, Bera, Sunniva, Johanna, etc.), so I guess I'm just having a hard time trying to decide where to draw the line.
I'm NOT a fan of the creative spelling phase either but... I'm a Madyson... so what can I say :)

It's occasionally used here and I've heard it pronounced ah-GLAH-yah. It's not bad IMO.
