[Opinions] Re: WDYT of Emily?
in reply to a message by alma
Emily used to be my favorite name. I loved the association with Emily Brontë, Emily Dickinson, Emily Carr and Emily Murphy. I adored the combo Emily Margaret. However, I've grown out of it. Emily is sweet, but I find her too sweet now and lacking a lot of spunk. It's still a good name, though: it's classic and feminine and even elegant. If you love it, don't be afraid to use it because it doesnt match the taste of some people on the Internet. It has a good foundation that most BtNers admire in a name.
