I can't really see Margot becoming popular anytime soon. I think it's elegant and very charming, but it's not the kind of name that everyone finds appealing.
It's my middle name AND my mum's name... this post comes like 20 posts after the post on my first name. I get it mispronounced a lot (pronouncing the t), but that's mostly by my teenage friends. I actually really like it. I didn't used to. But now it's in and out of my top ten because I think it would be nice to have a Margot and continue it as a family name. I can see Margot's appeal now that I'm older and don't just think of it as another word for "Muuuuuuum!".
