[Opinions] Re: Grace
It's a classic that has been revived. I can see how someone could think of it as trendy based on its quick increase in popularity in the 1990s after years of not being nearly as popular. Its popularity has come in waves. Back in the late 19th century, it was about as common as it is today, but in the late 1960s, it had fallen to number 317 in the U.S. As far as records show, its usage has been fairly regular in the U.S., and it has never fallen out of the top 500. Had the name been much more obscure before becoming popular, it might count as trendy, but like Isabella, Emma, and Emily, Grace has been a familiar name for years.
