pretty great! I can see two chubby little babies in smocked dresses!
I don't like Sadie. Based on some association I've long forgotten, my image of Sadie is a hardened, shrewd, witty, and streetwise person. As opposed to a refined, educated, gentle, or light-hearted person. Maybe it's the similarity of sound to "sadism"? I'm not sure. Anyway, I think it sounds tough, and the opposite of innocent. Which isn't awful in itself, but I balk at the idea of naming a baby it.
Olive is nice. I met a toddler named Olive a few years ago. It seems a little hipsterish, but not in a bad way. I like Olive because of the peace symbolism, and the antique-ness of it makes it seem sweet, but not too sweet because of its modesty especially in contrast to Olivia.

Sadie - happy-go-lucky, not a care in the world! I love Sadie. I'd use it if my husband wasn't so adamant that it was a dog's name. :o)
Olive - a very nice alternative to the overpopular Olivia. And, frankly, I think a little girl Ollie could ask me for just about anything and get away with it!

I really like Sadie. It has been growing on me a lot lately. I think it's very sweet.
Olive is not really my style. I've never been able to see the appeal of Olive or Oliver because they just remind me of the food.

I like Sadie as a nn for Sarah - even though I think it can definitely stand alone, it is a little cutesy for my tastes. My best friend and her fiancee plan on using on their second daughter.
I prefer Olive to Olivia and think it is really sweet and quirky but I wouldn't use it myself. It reminds me too much of the food and there are other names I prefer a lot more. I'd like to meet a little Olive though.

I like both a lot. Olive is precious and Sadie feels like a happy name.
