[Opinions] German Births
These are actually from the past year, all are from Cottbus Germany. I didn't add all of the names, as there were so many, and there were tons of repeats, but weeded through the ones I found most interesting. Wdyt?Anton Sebastian

It was neat going through the list. I was surprised that there was an Ava Cheyenne amongst them. It's not what I expected. Perhaps the parents are American but the child was born in Germany? Or is Cheyenne catching on a bit over there?

Cheyenne has been in use here for a few years. It's not a top 500 name but it can be heard occasionally. I think that 'No Angels' singer Jessica kinda introduced it when she named her daughter Cheyenne in 2003. That's just a guess though. Actually, I'm more surprised to see Ava than to see Cheyenne over here. That one is rare.

When it comes to German names, I like names that are traditionally German; not names that are transplants from other places like the U.S. However, there are some others on the list that are cool to see (Christos Alexios, for example) that aren't German at all.
