Gita is pretty and it has a nice meaning. I like it.

I like it! My mother's cat is called Gita (her sister was Sanjay). It makes me laugh because my mother's name is Ita.

Not my favorite Indian name, but it's pretty. I have a friend named Gita and she's kind, absolutely hilarious, and totally spontaneous, so that's kind of how I view the name.
