I really like the name Micaiah but I've read a few comments that suggest the name isn't said how I originally thought (mie-KAY-ə)

Another pronunciation I like is "mih-KYE-ə" and I prefer the name on a boy. I think this pronunciation is a bit feminine sounding.

I've never heard Micaiah pronounced "mie-KAY-ə". I know a family with a son named Micaiah, and his name is pronounced "mih-KYE-ə" ("mi-KIE-ə", using this site's pronunciation guide). I also know of a girl Micaiah (friend of a friend). I'm pretty sure she pronounces her name "mi-KAY-ə" (like Michaela without the L). "mie-KAY-ə" sounds really awkward.

Ok thanks. Michaela is one of my favorite names for girls so if I had a girl and wanted to use Micaiah I'd use that pronunciation but definitely mih-KYE-ə for a boy.
