I find it COMPLETELY unstimulating.

I like Justine a lot for a girl. Justin for a boy was so very popular some years ago that it's run its race. Same as Jason. People mostly find them boring.

It seems very eighties to me. My classes in school were always full of Justins and Jasons

Very dated. I picture a boy born in the early to mid 1980s.

I think it's a bit dated, but other than that it's an okay name. Not really my style. It's kinda boring to me.

I love it and since it's not used where I live popularity hasn't tainted it for me:-)

Used to know quite a few Justins back in grade school, so I associate the name with the 1980s and 1990s. I also associate it with boybands, what with Justin Timberlake and Justin Beiber. Not necessarily a bad thing, just kind of how it goes.Personally, I wouldn't use it, but it's not the worst name out there.

Most Justins I know are over 20, so while there's nothing wrong with the name, I guess it's just one I wouldn't consider using ona baby nowadays.

I like it but I think its really dated sounding, at least here in the US. It would be odd to hear of one that wasn't at the very least 10 or any older then about 20.

I think of Justin as very dated to the early-mid 80s. I checked the popularity, and the 80s is definitely the decade where it was most popular. It was fairly popular in the 90s, too, but not as much. I'd be surprised to hear it on anyone younger than 20, actually.

Thats odd. Most of the people I know with it are in their late teens. I guess my area just might be a little behind in the trends!

Yeah I think it pressed on a bit longer in my area than other places too. I wouldn't expect to see it on kids under 10ish, but I wouldn't be surprised.

I never liked it. It's too common. Now I dislike it even more due to the annoying Justin Bieber.

It's cute but has a trendy/preppy vibe.

I'm soo sick of it. I don't think it sounds nice, sorry. and all I can think of is a really gross kid that I went to school with or this ass that my friend dated once.
plus, I'm not big on English J nameseverything about it is just bleeeeehhhhhhhh

Sorry, but I really dislike it. It just seems so juvenile and obnoxious. I can't picture it on anyone but a bratty kid who picks on other kids or an immature teenager who thinks he's the coolest thing since sliced bread. I'm not even entirely sure why I feel this way about it. I can only think of a handful of Justins I've known, and can't specifically say any of them fit that description, so I don't think it's due to association.

Justin is one of those names that has been so popular that it's hard for me to separate how I feel about it objectively from how I feel about it based upon its popularity---and that is sick to death of hearing it, I've known so many Justins.Objectively, I like it well enough, but I don't love it. It's a little stern. It seems a little judgmental---I think because it starts with "just"! It's handsome. But it was too popular, there are too many Justins, it's becoming dated, and there are scads better names to use.

Very well said and I agree totally because I feel the same way about Jason (and Justin to a lesser extent). It's a shame because Justin is a nice name with a great meaning.
