Sophie Dahl, the granddaughter of writer Roald Dahl, welcomed a daughter named Lyra a few days ago. No word on the middle name yet. What do you think of it?
I personally don't care for Lyra. Too heavily associated with His Dark Materials.

I love His Dark Materials so I don't mind the association. I love, love, love the name Lyra. It's one of my top 10 for use irl so I love seeing when others use it. I think it's just so beautiful, in an almost ethereal and ancient sort of way. Can't wait to see what her mn is.
