At first I thought it was terrible, but then I said it outloud and Evadene actually sounds kind of pretty to me. I do prefer Evadne, though.

I would've guessed a misspelling of Evadne. Like you're just drawing out the syllables as though you're helping a five-year-old spell a word: ee vaaad eh nee. :o) Interesting but a little out there.

It's probaby a combination of Eva and Dene. Kind of like Willadeen, which is the name of Dolly Parton's oldest sister.
