I know, It's just that nn's that can be spelled with a y or an i/ie usually are male when it's a y and female when it's an ie, such as:
Randy/ Randi
Tony/ Toni
Joey/ Joie
Bobby/ Bobbie
That's why I thought of Christy as possibly male.

Christy is completely valid as a guy's name. I just never would have thought of it because it's not used around here.
