I don't care for it. It's getting trendy because of Twilight.

I hoped nobody would say that! I really wouldn't want people to think I used the name because of Twilight, because I've liked it for ages, even before those books came out. It's never been in the top 100 here in England, so maybe it's not getting trendy over here so much - I've yet to hear of anyone with the name...

I like Jasper, but I prefer Casper. Jasper Matthew is my favorite of your combos.

Well obviously I LOVE the name Jasper, just check out my signature! It's been my fave boy name for years, so that's why it's my DS's name. Jasper Montgomery is my fave of your combos, it's very handsome indeed.

I love it for my cat so why can't it work for a human too? ;-)Of all the combos you've listed, I like Jasper Charles and Jasper Montgomery best. Jasper Matthew has the repeated short 'a' sound that doesn't thrill me but if honoring is your thing, then go for it.

It's not a favorite but it's nice enough for others to use. I imagine it's a name a fashionable couple would choose for their son. It's not trendy but definitely hip in my opinion. Personally I prefer Jesper and Casper.
I've actually met a little Jasper. There's a little boy (almost 2) at the day care center where I work named Jasper. His six-year-old sister is named Io. My favorite combo from your list based on flow is Jasper Montgomery but based on middle name choice I prefer Jasper Joseph and Jasper Charles.

Wow. I'd like to meet those parents. You can't see it right now, but I'm doing the happy dance thinking about siblings Jasper and Io. Out of curiosity, how are they pronouncing Io?

I love the name Jasper!
Jasper Matthew - to me this doesnt sound good because of the two short A sounds
Jasper Anthony - same as before but the sound is a little better
Jasper Charles - nice strong name
Jasper Montgomery - loveee this! so charming and country southern, I can't get enough of this
Jasper Joseph - I don't like the double J sound

I think it's good. That's not the same thing as saying I like it - somewhere along the line I associated it as a cowboy-ish name, and that has put it in the "not my style" category. I'm like lucia, I prefer Caspar. But I feel like I should like Jasper. It's got a lot of character, but doesn't try too hard to be anything. The only combo there that clunks, IMO, is Jasper Joseph. I usually like alliteration but that one isn't working for me. I guess if I were naming a real son, I'd probably also avoid M names because of the SPERM it forms.

Wow I hadn't noticed the "sperm" thing - thanks for pointing that out, it's definitely something to avoid!

I liked Jasper a lot in my late teens, but for some reason, I started to really dislike it and it's definitely not for me any more. I do love Caspar, though.Jasper Charles is my favourite from your list. The others don't really excite me, sorry.

I really like Jasper too. I hate to bring it up, but the only sort-of problem is Twilight and how it'll probably become more popular because of it.I like Jasper Anthony the best. I'm not a fan of the double J in Jasper Joseph. I also like the nickname Jazz.

I like it! If I ever used it it would be for a middle name, because it almost seems to romantic/dramatic for me to use as a fn, but I still like it.
I like Matthew, but it's WAY too boring for Jasper.
Jasper Anthony is cool, I like it. I know Anthony isn't much less "boring" than Matthew, but for some reason it gives me a different vibe.
Jasper Charles is great; it sounds very proper and British. It would probably need a nickname when he was a little kid.
Jasper Montgomery is alright. I suppose I could grow to like it.
I'm not a fan of the double J's, and I don't think Joseph is cool enough for Jasper anyway.

I'm thrilled that Jasper is beginning to catch on. I never thought I'd see the day because it's so old and English-y which is my style. I just never thought others would get into these kinds of names too. Hooray for Harry Potter. (I'm thinking of Cedric)Jasper Matthew -- Great. But variant Jasper Matthias (mah-THIE-us") would be even more stunning. Jasper Anthony -- Again great. But I'm more drawn to something like Jasper AntoniusJasper Charles -- So butler-y and fun.Jasper Montgomery -- I'm going to surprise you and say I don't care for this one. The flow is off and the mn is too surname-y for me. Jasper Joseph -- Sometimes repeated first letters work. I'm not feeling this one.Jasper Milo is my stock Jasper combination. You're welcome to it if you like. Isn't it fun talking about names with a boyfriend? :-)
