Vladimir - i've been thinking a lot about this name, may have to do a post on it. How is it seen over there - old-fashioned, outdated, good/bad etc?Ana - always preferred this spelling

Vladimir is rather dated here (as is Vlado), it was popular in my parents' generation along with other Slavic names.
