This is a list of names I like/love, but absolutely don't like the nn(s) for it!

William - and Will, but not Bill or Billy
James - but not Jimmy
Daniel - but not Dan or Danny
Anthony - but not Tony
Nicole - but not Nicky or Nikki
Patricia - but not Patty, Trish or Trisha
Beatrice - but not Bea or Trixie
Candace - but not Candy
Caroline - but not Carrie
Catherine - but not Cathy or Kathy (actually, Kathy isn't bad, I just prefer the full name)
Sandra - but not Sandy
Cecelia - but not Cece
Josephine - but not Josie or Jo
Madeline - but not Maddy
Abigail - but not Abby or Gail
Olivia - but not Liv or Livvy
Victoria - but not Tori or Vicky
Michelle - but not Shelly (popular when I was a kid!)

But I do like:
Grace or Gracie
Ruth or Ruthie
Sophia or Sophie
Anne, Anna or Annie

Daniella but not Dani- hate this actually
Gabriella/ Gabrielle but not Gabby- I don't see why Bella or Belle could not be a nn for this
