I was reading a newspaper, and I saw someone named Ina. I personally think it's kinda short for my liking, but it's okay.
What do you think of Ina? How would you pronounce it?

In English, I'd guess I-na like the pronoun. Other languages, it'd be EE-na; and in Afrikaans also EE-na but the EE is a shorter sound than usual.
I've known plenty, and it's always turned out to be either a nn for something with that ending, like Katerina, or a full name on its own, given to honour someone called Katerina or something similar. I find it a bit flimsy.

It's too short for my tastes as well, but it's interesting. I'd pronounce it EE-nah.

I know an Ina, she pronounces it Eye-na.

I'm an ice skater, and so the only thing I can think of is a move called the Ina Bauer (after someone).

I like it. I think it's cute. I wouldn't use it (it is very short), but it would be a good nickname for something that ends in "-ina". It could also be short for something like Inanna or Inara. I pronunce it EE-na.

I know a few and it's pronounced EE-nah here. I prefer it as a nickname for a longer name (+ it's a name of our oil and gas company).

I know a few Inas who all pronounce it EE-nah. I think of it the same way you do, a little too short but ok. One Ina I know is actually a Katharina NN Ina and I think that's kinda cool because it's a nice change. The common nickname for Katharina here is Kathi or Kati which is cute but way too common.
