Catie and Henry had their second child, Danny, last year. Brian loves being a big brother, and he can't wait until Danny is old enough to play outside like he does. Henry is a little more at ease with being a father the second time around, but he still has occasional doubts.
Darcy finished college four years ago and has since been working as an athletic trainer at a sports medicine complex. His wife, Toni, writes children's literature and poetry. She is also a stay-at-home mom to their twin girls Anna and Amanda, who are two.
Annie is just now turning her life around. Four years ago, she took off and left the house. Wil and Bekah didn't hear from her for three years until she showed up on their front porch last year in tears with her newborn daughter, Kira. Since Kira was born, Annie really seems to want to raise her well and properly. She still isn't dating anyone, and won't tell anyone who Kira's father is; however, Annie has been taking more classes at the community college and is looking for a small apartment on her own. Kira is an active little girl. She doesn't talk too much, but soaks up all the attention you'll give her.
Violet is 24. She graduated from college last year with her music therapy degree and married her boyfriend Erik Pataki from Hungary. Violet studied abroad in Hungary her sophomore year and Erik followed her back to the US for their junior year. He ended up staying in the country and is working toward becoming a US citizen. In the meantime, he has a degree in psychology and wants to become a psychiatrist--for which he is attending a three year graduate program.
Eli is 22. Two years ago he was thrown from a horse and broke his back. He was told that he will be unable to ride at the level he had previously attained. Eli has only been riding again for about two and a half months, and he is having some difficulty with pain while riding. He hasn't quite figured out what he wants to do with his life now. Riding has been the most important thing for him since he was a kid.
Addie, 18, is in her first year of college. She is attending a prestigious women's college with a horseback riding team that competes at a pretty high level. She wants to teach kids how to ride horses, and wouldn't mind competing either. Addie is very romantically involved with a guy she met during her first weekend of college. Wil and Bekah aren't sure how it will end, but Addie assures them that she'll be fine.
Denver is now officially a teenager. He is fourteen, and every bit the stereotypical teenager. He is a bit rebellious and likes to do his own thing, but he is very popular among his friends and other kids at school. He considers himself a "trendsetter". His goal right now is to save up enough money through doing chores to get a respectable skateboard that he can use at the skate park.
