I adore it. There aren't many good T names for a girl. And this is one of my favorites. I especially like the "-dad" ending which is what I think most people don't like about it. But Trinidad and Verdad have always held a fascination for me. Plus with Trinidad, as you say, you get the super cute nn Trini.

The only problem (and it's a fun one) is finding the right mn for it. I would want something more conventional because Trinidad would be so unusual. But it still needs a slightly exotic feeling. Could be tricky.
