I recently found out the names of all of my great great grandfather's siblings...DH: Friedrich
DW: SusannaDS: Friedrich
DD: Susanna
DD: Elizabeth
DD: Anna
DS: Peter
DS: Christian
DS: Emil
DS: Johannes
DS: Edward (my great great grandfather)
DD: Maria
DS: Gottfried
DD: Emma
DS: August

The parents did an excellent job here. I especially like Susanna and Peter. The only one I'm not wild about is Gottfried.

What a lovely set of names. I particularly like: Susanna (although I prefer Susannah), Elizabeth, Christian, Emil, Johannes and August. The one thing that bothers me as that the first two children have the same names as their parents - I realize this is what was often done in older days but it still annoys me as I find it doesn't give them their own identity.

It's a pretty sibset overall but I think Susanna and Anna as sisters is a bit much.
