[Opinions] What would you think of twins named
Lyra and Fiera? Is Lyra too "calm" and Fiera too ""fiery" for them to go together? Also, what first names do you like for Pippin? Philip? Peregrine? Could it work as a nn for Philippa or is it too boyish?

I adore Lyra... it's beautiful, and I don't imagine it being a particularly calm name. I imagine it, actually, to be really rather fiery. I don't know how Fiera is pronounced - FEE-rah... FI-rah? I'm really not too huge a fan of it... I find FEE-rah nicer, as FI-rah sounds too feline and close to the word 'viral'... but still, not my style. I lovvvvve Pippin on a girl, especially short of Philippa... and actually prefer it to a boy. I love Pip most as another nn, but Pippin's more unusual.

Thematically, I don't think there's a problem with Lyra and Fiera, but I might roll my eyes at the repeating -ra sound.Hmm... I think Philip and Peregrine both work for Pippen. I like Pippa as a nn for Philippa.

I like Lyra, not so much Fiera. I think the -ra ending for both is a bit too similar. They also sound very "fantasy geek" to me.I guess both Philip and Philippa work for Pippin.

If they don't rhyme, I think Lyra and Fiera go together nicely. I really dislike rhyming names for twins.Pippin would be a nice nickname for Philip. It's a little too masculine for Philippa in my opinion, though.

(dramatic music) Lyra and Fiera have a bit more than just fiery music, in my mind they rhyme.

They wouldn't rhyme-- I'd say LIE-ra and fee-AIR-uh.

That is a relief. I guess it's alright now that the problem is solved.

They sounds too similar. And yes Lyra is too calm and Fiera is too fiery. Could what work as a nn for Philippa? Philip is okay. Pippin sounds more like a nn. Peregrine makes me think of dogs. I kinda like Piper or Pippa.

Hmmmm... Lyra and Fiera... I don't see why not. There's certainly been worse combos, that's for sure. Pippin doesn't sound like it would be a nickname for Philippa in my opinion. Pippa or Pippy would be best for that.I LOVE the name Peregrine. I'm not sure why. I just do. :)

How are you pronouncing Fiera? Does it rhyme with Lyra? If so, that seems to be too matchy for twins anyway, despite their vibes. I like Pippin best as a nickname for Peregrine. I do think Pippin is a bit too masculine of a nickname for Philippa. I like Pippa better.

I'm saying it more like fee-AIR-uh.
