[Opinions] Re: Pauline and Paulina
Sorry? You can sorry me any time with combos like:Chrysantha Pauline
Paulina Maelle
Amadea Pauline
Paulina Bernadette
I love Pauline and Paulina equally, but I knew Pauline wouldn't be as popular. Would it help any if I said the reason I ike Pauline is that I picture a French aristocrat named Pauline? We (I assume) usually picture French aristocrats using flashy names like Antoinette, Clemence or Melisande. But I bet if we looked at BAs for the aristocracy they would use names with more cool restraint -- something like Pauline. I picture my Pauline during WWII, occasionally helping the French resistance. She doesn't need any medals. She wears her honor on the inside. At least that's what my brain tells me.

Well, you're welcome then. I tend to feel a little inferior as some around here so easily (it seems) come up with 30 combos off the top of their head, half of which include names I've never heard of. But I think my exposure to this site is improving my comboing skills and my name-vocabulary.Anyhow, I thought you'd like Paulina Bernadette. And that's a nice picture of "your" Pauline - even if I still don't like her name. :o)
