[Opinions] Royal Twins
Sorry if this has already been posted.Denmark's royal twins have names now. Well, I guess they had names earlier (they were born in January) but it's a tradition in Denmark to first announce the name of a new prince or princess on the day of their christening. That day was yesterday and the names are:Vincent Frederik Minik Alexander & Josephine Sophia Ivalo Mathildasiblings: Christian Valdemar Henri John & Isabella Henrietta Ingrid Margrethe parents: Frederik André Henrik Christian & Mary Elizabeth
ETA: Both Minik and Ivalo are Greenlandic names.

Great!Princess Mary is Australian, so it's been mentioned over here. I like the names quite a lot. Christian, Isabella, Vincent and Josephine make a nice subset.

Josephine is pronounced with four syllabels, with the 'j' pron. like 'y' - I absolutely love it. It's so pretty, soft, retro and unexpected. Ditto on Vincent. Both work really well with Christian. I feel Isabella is the odd one out, it's so modern and trendy, not a huge fan. Overall, great choices:)

Lovely! Josephine Sophia is interesting. the "so" and "ph" are repeated in both. I love the combo Josephine Amelia. It's on my list.

Yes.As a Dane, I watched it yesterday on TV.Loving the names so much.Greenlandic names, because of the close bonds that the Royal Danish House has with Greenland. Plus, Frederik and Mary loves Greenland and the Greenlandic names, has people up there over-joyed. :)
