I often like obviously feminized names, particularly the ones that are a bit awkward and/or still feel pretty butt-kicking. But for some reason I've never been able to get behind Roberta. I think it's because I haven't had any sort of image epiphany or likeable associations. It's just so blaringly "Robert" to me. Perhaps someday I'll be able to warm up to it like I have Alberta, recently. I do know, at least, that I really dislike Bobbie.
