I have a friend whose baby is Everleigh Charis. I love Everleigh, but I think I prefer just Ever. Everleigh starts to sound like Beverly after I say it a few times out loud. I'm also very fond of Everleigh Noelle.

I do seem to be susceptible to Ever and Everly. I don't know that I'd choose them myself, but I enjoy them when I see them and appreciate them for romantic, sentimental feel, along with look and sound. The spelling Everley feels a bit further from the root meaning, for me, but it is easy enough to understand...unless I'm mistaking it...confusing it with another name?

The Everly Brothers are one of my favorite bands so I'll always picture two guys instead of a little girl.

I like this name (but spelt Everly), but I don't think I'd name someone this because people might mis-hear it and think it's Beverly. I do like it, though, so it's a mini conundrum for me. If I did name someone this, I would pair it either with a classic, feminine middle name (like Everly Grace), or with a middle name that makes it sound almost fairytale-ish (like Everly Autumn).
