I've loved this Greek name since I first heard it. I think the meaning is lovely. I usually pronounce it a-GLAY-uh.

What do you think of Aglaia? How would you pronounce it?

I think it's very pretty. I pronounce it ah-GLYE-ah, to rhyme with Maia.

It's alright. I like the meaning better than the actual sound of the name.

I would naturally pronounce it uh-GLYE-uh. (Rhymes with Maia). I think I like your pronunciation better, though.

It sounds like the name of a medical condition to me: "You have acute Aglaia of the kidneys." I don't like it.
