I thought "fedora" as soon as I saw your title. :-/

How are you pronouncing Feodora? That might make a difference. I'm used to Fyodor having the stresson the first syllable. Is Feodora said the same way? Or is the stress on the "-dora" part? If so, then the fedora connection is difficult to see past. Then again, no one wears fedoras anymore (more's the pity.)

I'm pronouncing it like Theodora, but with an 'F'. It's the name of a character in a book I'm reading, so it sparked my curiosity.

I like Feodora Regine, Feodora Martine, Feodora Alexandra, and Feodora Natalia. Thanks! :)

I know of a Feodora. Unless it's Fiodora. I've only ever heard it, never seen it. She goes by Feo/Feo. I love it. Fun and way better than Fiona.

Yes, but Spanish feo is pronounced more like FAY-oh than FEE-oh. :)

I love it. It's very exotic and pretty! I think very 'english' mn's would go best with it because it's such an unusual name, like Feodora Jane, Feodora Emmeline, Feodora Rosalie, Feodora Winifred . . .

Is it bad that I like it because it is so close to fedora? That just gives it a classy, glossy, dangerous edge I quite enjoy.

Dora is the most obvious nickname, or maybe Fea/Fia?

I want to pair it sith something old fashioned, brassy, and 1920's esque, like Feodora Blanche, Feodora Roxanne, or Feodora Liza.

Feo means Ugly

Feo means ugly in Spanish. I wouldn't use it based on that. I also think it's close to Fedora, but that isn't a bad thing

I like Feodora. It's not too close to fedora at all. I was blown away by it the first time I came across it, in a biography of Queen Victoria years ago.

I think it needs something classic like Feodora Helena, Feodora Irene or Feodora Louisa. Otherwise something gentle and nature-inspired - Feodora Iris, Feodora Willow, Feodora Viola.

Nickname - Feo!

I am going to add Feodora to my list.
