[Opinions] Freyr
Thoughts on Freyr? My family is originally from Scandinavia, so this would be a nice connection. I'm liking Freyr Anders. Thanks!

I don't know where you live, but here in the UK, Freya is a really common name. Therefore using Freyr for a boy, since it is so similar, is bound to lead to confusion.

I like it a lot actually. I don't think it's hard to say and I like the flow of Freyr Anders better than that of Anders Freyr.I have to admit though, I would probably use a middle name without an "r" in it.

I much prefer Frey or Frej. I like it enough to actually consider using it in real life. To me the extra R in Freyr makes it less attractive in both look and sound. Freyr Anders is a good combo, maybe trying to be Scandinavian a bit too much though.

It's alright. I prefer Frey. Freyr reminds me of frère, and it's a bit harsh to say. I wouldn't mind it as a middle name, though.

It's not something I myself would use, but I'd love to see it on someone else! It goes really well with Anders, too.

We have an activity called the Freyer model which helps students understand new vocabulary. The word is in the center of the page, and the rest is divided into four sections. One for the definition, one for traits of the new word, one for examples of the new word and one for non examples. Ex- tree. A tall plant. Wooden trunk, branches, leaves. Apple tree, pine tree, maple tree, magnolia. Grass, flowers, mushrooms. I couldn't use it as a name because of this connection.

I think Freyr would make for a better middle name, as it looks kind of hard to pronounce.
I think Anders Freyr sounds very good, and I like Anders=)
