The recent civil war has kept Demetrius extremely busy. He hasn't actually fought in it himself, but he's trying to help come up with a peaceful resolution and was thrilled when the fighting was finally over. The end of the war brought Demetrius more time to spend with his family. He came to the conclusion that his children, particularly Antonius are very spoiled. Alexandra doesn't deny them anything and demands they have the best of everything. Seeing some of his past immature behavior in his eldest son, Demetrius decided to send him to the newly formed military academy to get him to shape up. Alexandra was furious that her husband would just send their son away, and refused to even see him for several weeks. It was only after she discovered she was pregnant again that she finally decided to put this behind them.
Nerissa has been spending all of her free time in the stables, sometimes leaving early in the morning and not returning until well after dark. Rumors have curculated, saying that she was having a young courtship with one of the stable boys. Dominic has been managing to find trouble at every turn and is always making a mess or getting hurt. Aurelia and Leon are inseperable, spending every minute of every day together. Due to her pampered upbringing, Arista has grown very spoiled. She takes after her mother when it comes to her treatment of the servants. The children were all thrilled when Alexandra finally gave birth to her last child, a daughter. Antonius was present for the birth of his youngest daughter and he and Alexandra decided to name her Milania Rosalind Portia.
