[Opinions] Re: Ages?

I am 30.
I think my taste in names has varied over the years. I am more appreciative of older names now then I use to be. I find certain older names to be unique because they are no longer used often. Trendy, modern, popular sometimes feel worn and used out to me. There are just too many of them. I can see that in 10/15 years times how dated they will be, because of the trendy names I grew up with.
Names that I have liked (and still like) when I was younger in the 90's feel a little dated now. They were pretty unique sounding when I liked them though. I don't think I would ever consider using some of them, but here are my favorites from back then:
Girls: Sophie, Aurora, Arianna, Samantha, Victoria, Sabrina, Belle, Eva
Boys: Austin, Mark, Ivan, Lucas, Zach, Ash, Bryce, Jackson
I still like the names (especially Sabrina), I just have expanded my taste. Today I like some modern names, some older names etc... It is more varied.
Names I like now that I would never liked in the 90's: Sybil, Simon, Clarice, Thomas, Esther, Lenny, Tate, Evangeline, Eliza, Ellis, Syrus, Edmund, Seamus... there are more but you get the idea. These are not necessarily top on my list, they are just names I like, that I don't think I would have liked when I was a teenager.
Some of the names I like are more "old fashioned", but, they are much less common. I also tend to like names that have more personal meaning to my life. Sometimes that will be a family name, or an artist name, or a name that reminds me of someone or something important in my life. So, when I was younger it just had to sound good to me, now it has to sound good, and have a good meaning behind it, or at least something that is meaningful to me.
