The Kingdom has been fairly quiet for the last few years, which the royal family has been grateful for. Minnie has been focusing more on training Chloe and her new husband Jon so that they can make the best decisions possible.

Chloe was engaged to Jon three years ago, he is the second son of a old family that Minnie picked out. The pair have been slowly getting to know each other and are now friends but are not attracted to each other in the slightest. Chloe has come to accept her responsibility and has been trying to get as much of her medicinal magic training done as possible before she has to take the throne. Jon is even more quiet than his new wife, he doesn't talk a whole lot and when he does he mutters but he is an excellent writer.

Helene has gotten engaged to a foreigner she met while she was tending to horses down at the stables. The pair got along very well for the past two years, though Lady Augusta was more than a little shocked when she found out that she was friends with a Princess, and started dating secretely just eight months ago. Helene asked her Mother if it was alright that she was in love with Lady Augusta and Minnie, a bit shocked at first, was supportive of Helene and even started paying her daughter for her position as stablehand. Helene used that money to buy Augusta a ring and asked her Father for her hand in marriage. Augusta's family was less enthusiastic at first but are slowly growing fond of Helene.

Argus has made the decision to focus only on battle magic, he adores how his Aunt Hermione fought on the front lines for a good cause and wants to be like her when he grows up. Minnie is worried for her son but accepts his decision.
Nyx is still very close to Argus but sometimes likes to act girly with her female cousins of the same age, especially Aurelia.
Patroklus spends most of his days in the library or holed up in his room reading or going over maps. He despises socializing but if he's in the right mood and Nyx is especially persistant he can be convinced to come out.
Ismene is still the loudest and smallest of all her siblings but it is obvious that she is going to be very beautiful. Her easy-going nature attracts all kinds of people and she's always up for a laugh. Ismene has developed purple eyes with fine silver threads in them and has been taken into training by her Aunt fairly recently as a result.

Silas can't believe how quickly all of their children are growing and what wonderful people they are becoming. Sometimes he worries about Patroklus not being able to get along with anyone but he supposes nothing can be done about that.
