Amelia Imogen and Jack Nathaniel are siblings from England.
Amelia is 15. She has several nicknames (such as Amy, Lia, Mel, etc.) and doesn't care what anyone calls her. She is very laidback and easy to get along with. She has excellent grades and participates in several extracurricular activities (band, dance, theatre, swimming, and track). She likes to stay busy and be productive. She also likes to read, learn about other cultures, and sing. She and her brother were abandoned last year. Her biggest fear has been that she and Jack won't be adopted together.
Jack is 8. He is shy but loves to talk once he gets to know a person. He likes puzzles, mathematics, reading, basketball, watching movies, playing with toy cars, and running with Amelia. He looks up to his big sister. He is looking foward to having a brother close in age to play with!

Lucas is the troublemaker. He gets into everything and will be the first to throw a fit when things don't go his way. He is getting better, but still thinks that everything is his or should be done for him. He likes to color, fingerpaint, draw, play with toy cars and airplanes, and kick balls outside.
Elsa is very shy and quiet. She likes to pretend play, play with animals or her stuffed animals or dolls, play hopscotch, swing, and help in the kitchen. She does not like loud, crowded places. She and Aurelie are nearly inseparable.

Natalia Isabel is 16 and from Portugal. She was kicked out of her home when her parents discovered that she was pregnant. She has been in foster care for the past 5 months, and is 7 months pregnant. She has been very worried that she would have to have her baby in the orphanage and is very appreciative that she and her baby are being adopted.
She speaks her native Portuguese, fluent English and Spanish, and has been trying to learn French in her spare time.
Natalia is an excellent honor roll student and takes pride in her academic work. Coming from an impoverished family, she realized early on that a good education was something she needed. She is in the top 5 of her class, and the agency is sure she'll continue to excel in her new school.
She loves to dance, sing, read, cook and bake, play instruments (piano and saxophone), photograph people, and be around other people and animals. She says she wants to go to college and major in something that will allow her to help people - more specifically, help teenagers who are in her position.
Natalia has decided to wait until birth to know the gender of her baby. She has no idea what to name the child, but would like Portuguese or Spanish names to honor the baby's roots.
She would like to stay in touch with her siblings in Portugal through e-mail, letters, phone calls, or whatever you will allow. They are: Edite (f, 11), Artur (m, 8), and Tomas (m, 5).
Benjamin Maarten is a 2 year old boy from the Netherlands. He was given up at birth, and immediately adopted into a Canadian family. The parents, however, recently died and now Benjamin is back in foster care. He speaks both English and French. His adoptive parents decided to not change his birth name because they wanted him to know where he was born. They were about to start teaching him Dutch.
Benjamin is healthy and active. He loves to run outdoors, kick a ball around, playing with animals, and fingerpainting. He is very shy at first but easy to get to open up. He is definitely going to love having older brothers and sisters to play with!

Liora Maytal, Zisel Talia, and Amos Gideon are g/g/b triplets from Israel. They are 1 year old. They are all very healthy. Liora was the first to reach all of their milestones: first to turn over, crawl, walk, talk, etc. Amos was always the last. However, when one reached a milestone the other two followed within days. They are very active and are quite a handful, but they are sweet and easy babies.

Zhou Huang is 7 and from China. He is reserved and very introverted. He prefers solitary activities such as drawing, painting, coloring, reading, watching movies, or solving puzzles. His absolute favorite thing to do is puzzles. He loves actual puzzles, word puzzles, word games, math puzzles; anything that can be solved or put together in that sense.
He has been in orphanages for the past 3 years. His family history is unknown, though experts think it's possible that he was neglected by his family. He has been known to open up to people he fully trusts, and often the best way to get through to him is through art or puzzles.

Over the last three years, we have adopted three children who have made our family complete (at least right now). We first decided to adopt a baby- feeling that we already had two children of our own and we could make add to our family not by birth but by adopting children who do not have parents. To be honest, we hadn't even considered adopting older children until later.
Imani Kamarai, who we remamed Imogene Maria, is now a spunky three-year old. She absolutely loves everything we do together and didn't go through her terrible twos- I'm wondering if it will hit later on. Being the youngest two, our girls get along perfectly. They love to wear matching clothes and hid out in their playhouse in our backyard. Since the adoption, we have not gone back to Africa, but we plan to when Imogene is a little older.
Our next adoption happened a year later, while we were processing an adoption with China actually. Elijah David "Eli" began attending our church with a new foster family. Although sometimes bitter, he was a sweet boy. When the foster family began having some health problems, Eli was very scared he'd be taken away somewhere else and he loved the community he was in. Christopher and I talked about it and then presented Eli with the idea of adoption. Already knowing our family and getting along fabulously with Christopher (no one would guess he was adopted when they see the two together), he hugged us and said yes. Since then, he has been a wonderful addition to our family. He is truly a great big brother (Although Anika likes to push the limits with this). He sometimes struggles with school, but we work with him on this and he now has a B average in his seventh grade class!
Our last family member to be brought into the Vincent family is Zhou Huang.

Elias Manuel is 5 years old and from Portugal. He speaks his native Portuguese as well as semi-fluent English. He has been raised by his Great-Aunt Marta, but she is declining rapidly in health. His parents want nothing to do with him, and Tia Marta (Aunt Marta) is his only other living relative.
Elias loves the outdoors, sports, animals, movies, and drawing. He enjoys visits to zoos and adores roadtrips. He has never been on an airplane but really wants to, at least once. Some children are hard to pry away from television, but Elias is hard to pry away from outside!
He understands that Tia Marta is dying (doctors give less than a year). He would really love to keep in contact with her through e-mail, photos, letters, telephone; anything you will allow.

3 year old Adelaida Matild is from Hungary. She has a broken leg and a broken arm, and has spent the last few weeks in a hospital. Her parents were in a car accident, and Adelaida was the only survivor. The doctors expect a full recovery, and her casts come off in 2 weeks. She is too young to fully understand what happened, but old enough to understand that her parents died, and kind of what that means. Psychologically, she is doing well. Left with no other family, Adelaida was put into an orphanage.
Adelaida loves to dance, play with bubbles, sing nursery rhymes, and "pretend play". She really wants brothers or sisters to play with, as she is an only child. She speaks her native Hungarian, but has picked up a substantial amount of English words as well, and being so young, she is a quick learner.
