This seems to boil down to the question whether Farrokh and Faruq really are two different and distinct names, and if yes whether the information on pages like the following is correct:

I'm skeptic after a look at all the variants for the name Faruq. With Faruq, Farooq, Farouk, Faruk, and even more transliterations all in common use, it's something of a mess with this name:

So, how would one show convincingly that Farrokh is more than just an especially elaborate transliteration?
