Probably my third favorite boy name
Definitely a possibility for a future son. I love how dark it sounds, but not overly evil like say, Lucifer. I'm fond of D names for boys.I also think Dami is an adorable nickname!

Very handsome!Love it! One of my favorite names. Ages very well..children, young adults, and men all can wear it well.

I think it is a cool name. It has a modern sound but isn't a modern creation. I have actually known 2 Damian's (and one is a priest) so that erases the The Omen connection for me.

I've always liked it; an old friend has a partner who spells it Damien, so that is what I'm more used to. But either version is fine. That said, I suppose it could shorten uncomfortably to Dam' - which might be where the horror-movie association originated, come to think of it. But it wouldn't be bad and it wouldn't last.Damien Charles is very distinguished.

I like it. "The Omen" association doesn't bother me at all, because it's fiction, and I think the sound of the name is cool.

I love Damian, but I prefer the Damien spelling. I think it's a very lyrical name and handsome, very similar to the increasingly popular Gabriel. I don't have any negative associations with the name. I would definitely consider using it for a son.

I like Damian, but I like the Damien spelling even better. I know there are some bad associations with it, but it doesn't bother me.

I think it's a nice name. I don't understand why so many people associate Damian with The Omen (or even Satan himself). There are no demonic traditions about the name Damian, and there were saints with the name. I think the reason why the people who made The Omen used it is because of superficial similarities to the word "demon".
