Two years later, few changes have seeped into the Magro household. Dora and Alvise have welcomed a pair of twin girls, and as the case was with Dante, both children were named after family members. The elder (by a number of minutes) was named Cristiana Letitia, after Lavinia and Dora, and the younger was named Arianna Minerva, after Candida and Lea (and, by extension, after the Queen Minerva and her sister Princess Arianna). Tina and Anna were a pair of happy toddlers, but they were hardly alike. Tina inherited her mother's cheerful demeanour, while Anna remained inherently shy and silent like her father. Still, the family lived contently in the small olive plantation Alvise had bought to settle down.
Meanwhile, Silvio and Yvaine had left their parents and siblings to their own home, a little cottage on the hills overlooking the town. And all throughout the two years they lived apart, Taddeo would often venture out to visit them every week without fail (sometimes openly, sometimes discreetly, most times human, but other times as a wolf). As such, Taddeo was the first to be dispatched to their parents when an exciting news was brought: Yvaine was pregnant! Immediately the visits increased, with Lavinia thrilled to help and Dora occasionally bringing Dante to keep cheer. After the time was fulfilled, Yvaine delivered a healthy son. Silvio wanted to name the boy after his family, as with Dora and Alvise's children, but once again Romolo did not want to be honoured. After a discussion with his wife, Silvio found a name no-one minded: Teodoro Remus. It was months later that he explained he still had his way with the name - Teodoro after both Taddeo and Dora, Remus instead of Romulus (or for that case, Romolo). But by that point, no-one was willing to change Teo's name, and as such Romolo had to laughingly agree that his son had outsmarted him.
It was during one of Taddeo's regular visits that he literally walked into a girl wandering about the hills. It turned out that the girl, Euphemia, had lost her way in the woods and just emerged at the hill. Taddeo helped her return to the town, and she promised to reward him. The following spring, a man in uniform knocked at Silvio's door with an invitation to an elite ball. Euphemia was the daughter of a war general-turned-appointee, and, believing Taddeo to reside with his brother, had sent them an invitation to her birthday ball. Taddeo was bewildered as to how to appear in front of so many "elites" without embarrassing anyone, but after some very rushed preparations, he and Silvio attended the ball. Taddeo and Euphemia's relationship budded from then on, though Taddeo was reluctant to suggest marriage, since she was the daughter of an important man, while he was the son of a lowly commoner werewolf. At last, it was Euphemia who first suggested that they get engaged, and after overcoming some uncertainties, Taddeo officially proposed to her. To their surprise, Euphemia's family took the news very well, and the two were engaged in yet another ball.
Romolo and Lavinia were a bit surprised to see their children growing up so fast, knowing that it was only a matter of time until Taddeo and Euphemia marry and leave their house. But the two of them lived their life contently and as lovingly as ever. Candida has entered into magical training, if a bit belatedly, and had begun to tap into her hidden healer abilities. She had managed to heal a bird with a broken wing not long ago, and was very jubilant about it. Lea, while decidedly less magical than her sister, was more than content with her tomboy ways. She made friends, not by parading down the streets in beautiful dresses like her sister, but by climbing trees and racing boys across the town - on rooftop! She was a very agile girl, and she prided in her talent. Meanwhile, it had become obvious that Vittorio, too, was showing signs of magical capabilities, especially around fire. He seemed to be able to make them flicker and dance, and had even managed to light a candle from afar without any training. Romolo planned to send his son to a good apprenticeship with a mage sometime after he grew up, a fact Vittorio was excited about.
