[Opinions] Haizea
I'm systematically going through names in the database. I'm currently on Basque and came across Haizea. According to the comments, it is pronounced like Isaiah. Do you think this would work on a girl in the U.S.? Also, what is your opinion of the name?

I really like the look of it. I'm not sure on the pronunciation, so I definitely think there would be problems there, constantly having to correct people on how to pron. a name I personally would find annoying. But it looks pretty and it has a nice meaning:)

There are a few baby videos on youtube with cute little Basque Haizeas, and their families all seem to be pronouncing it aye-ZEE-a - which isn't too far from what it looks like to an English speaker. I think it would be fine, as long as you're in a reasonably cosmopolitan area. I like it. Basque has a great name-pool.

It is definitely an attractive-looking name; I like it. I think pronunciation might be a problem, but other than that, it would work fine on an American girl. There is something very modern about it.

I like it. I think it is visually appealing and it has a very feminine combination of letters. However, I dislike the pronunciation and I think a child with this name would constantly have her name mispronounced as [hay-zee-uhj] or [hie-zee-uh].

The spelling (visual) seems feminine, but I think when having this name in an English speaking country will be considered male. She will have to explain it to people when first meeting them.
The name Isaiah makes me think of a 19th century goldminer.. On the other hand I really like the visual of Haizea, seems interesting and unique without the weird factor.
