What do you guys think about the trend of naming girls Peyton?

This is my second cousin's name and I can't believe her mother would do such a thing to her. Personally, I can't stand the name Peyton, and it's even worse on a girl.

I don't see how it sounds the least bit feminine. I only see it as a surname.

There's just nothing pretty or feminine about it. I can't see why anyone would name their daughter Peyton, when there are other, lovely names out there. But I guess it's just a style thing.

I don't mind it too much, I like it a lot better than Taylor or Mackenzie on a girl and it's not quite as trendy as those names right now! :)
