Book: Harry Potter series. I'm being uncreative. And liberal with ages.
Edit: I'm returning to my classic path and taking Teddy again.
Teddy was orphaned as a young infant; both of his parents died in the Battle of Hogwarts, leaving Teddy to his grandmother Andromeda. At an early age, it became apparent that he inherited his mother's Metamorphagus abilities, allowing him to change his appearance as subtly or drastically as he wanted. One day, when he was showing off his uncanny ability to his friends in school that a girl noticed him. Victoire and Teddy were old acquaintances, having met often since childhood, but it was that day at school that Victoire had a crush on him.
Years fly by, and to Victoire's surprise, she never got over her crush. Unknown to her, Teddy entertained the same feelings toward her, something finally known when a mutual friend, James, broke the news. Now that the word is out, Teddy asked Victoire to be his girlfriend. Cut forward seven years, and the couple are just as, if not more, strong - they just married!
