I've known of only one Danae; she pronounces it duh-NAY
I'm not very fond of this name.

My neighbors have a girl called Danae (Dánae). They pronunce it DUH-nuh-eh.
I kind of like it.

I like this name for a girl. I know a girl and she pronounces it 'duh-NAY'. Danae and similar names (like Lanae) also work well for a middle name in place of names like Marie.

The name is ok... nothing special. I pronounce it dah-NAY.

I would pronounce it DAN-ah-ee, since the accent over the E indicates it should be pronounced "ee", like Zoë or Chloë.

I know someone with this name... I like it...and she pronounces it Dah-nay.

I would say it dana-ay (not like hey with a sound "i" at the end, more like steak lol).
I think it's cute.
