I knew a girl named Saidah actually. But she said it sa-EED-ah, so I'd have to train myself out of that. I think it would be three syllables in Arabic though, since it has the apostrophe (Sa'idah).

Either way, it's pretty. I'm not sure it goes well with Baylor, which is all-American. Perhaps you could spell it Saydah, which would make pronunciation easier and be more in sync with Baylor's name.

It's rather interesting, I like the sound but prefer the spelling Saida but not Sa'ida. Baylor & Saida almost sound too much alike for siblings. I almost said Baylor & Sailor! :(

It's not bad, but I prefer Saideh (pronounced SAY-dee). I was friends with a girl named Saideh in highschool and that's how she said her name. I think they were Iranian. Beautiful name!

Saida has a nice meaning and it's strong enough to hold its own with Baylor. :)
