[Opinions] Kermit?
Would this be usable on a child? Kermit sounds kind of cute.

I think it'd be best as a nickname. Kermit is still too froggy in many people's minds.

While I really like the name, I still think that names of Muppets are hard to pull off. I worked with a guy named Grover for a while. I think one needs the right personality and look to pull off a name like that, but he didn't have either of those things.

Oh it would be lovely to see, but until I got to know someone named this I will forever think of my green friend Kermit the Frog!

I wouldn't like it anyways, but it definitely brings to mind a certain green frog. It also rhymes with hermit which just further takes this from the realm of usability. Perhaps as a middle name?

Sorry. I don't think that it is usable. Maybe as a middle name, but definately not as a first.

Definitely not useable, the Muppets association is just too massive. Even if it wasn't a muppet's name, I wouldn't like it.

As long as the middle name isn't Fozzy or Animal.

It's cute, but not really usable. The Muppet association is very strong.

No! It's a green puppet of a frog, sorry. I like Llewella's suggestion of Diarmid, it has a similar sound without the unfortunate connotations.

I don't think so, really. But I'll agree, it does have a nice sound. Makes me want to try to detach him and get him a new identity. :)I tried some combos. I really liked Kermit Warren. It's a step in the right direction. It helps that I really like Diarmaid, too.

Frankly, I much prefer Diarmaid; it's the original version of the name and sounds nicer.
