Way too popular for me at least, every other baby in the US is being named Emma.

I agree. I know of a ton of Emmas. This is a name I would stay away from, unless you don't mind your daughter being refered to as "Emma *last name initial*"

Emma has been in the top 10 since 2002! There were over 17,000 babies named Emma just last year in the US. I like the name, and actually wanted to use it because it's the name of my maternal and paternal grandmothers, and one of my great grandmothers.....but I refused to because it's so popular.
Your child would definitly be Emma "Last Name Initial" in their school classes.
