Well, babynames.com tells us it's a "Combination of Aaron and Lyn".I know, I know, that's a "baby names" website, but according to my experiences it usually makes sense, and "Combination of Aaron and Lyn" sounds like a pretty reasonable guess to me. Explains rather handily where the "AA" comes from, doesn't it?I currently go through the ranks 500 to 1000 of the US 2009 hitparates to complete my own database, and because of names just like Aaralyn it's not that much fun: Many of the still missing names are "kreativ schpellings" or such combinations, which from an etymological point of view are rather boring...
