[Opinions] Just a few German BAs
I don't know why but I absolutely can't sleep tonight, so I read my way through some BAs. And as I did I thought I could as well share some of the more interesting ones (well, at least to me they are interesting as I hardly ever read some of these names in German BAs).
BoysAnselm Pit - Anselm is a name I hardly ever come across in BAs.
Falk Aurel
Evangelos Dimitrios
Rufus Franz Georg - I think this is the first Rufus I ever found in a BA.
Alrik - I suppose this is either related to Alaric or Elric...
Valerian Gabriel
Simon Titus
Maximilian Ismail
Thanos Konstantinos
Adonis
GirlsSarah Irmelin - Irmelin is an old diminutive form of Irma. I have to say I kind of like this combo.
Bogna Bronislawa
Iona Zoe - "my" first German Iona.
Gloria
Lionella
Charlotte Hortense - I have to say, I really like this one.
Audrey Aurelie
Christabelle Samantha
Greta Regina - I'm usually not a fan of either name, but paired together... all of a sudden I find them charming.
Kassandra Maori
Jedida (see Jedidah)
Alba Amalia
Emilia Dominika - Dominika is rare these days (well, at least I don't come across little Dominikas very often)
So, what do you think? Anything good in there? Anything horrible? ;-)

How do you pronounce Hortense in German? I hope it sounds better than in English!

Opalescence gave a pretty good pronunciation guide. Well, that's at least how it would be pronounced in German, but then again, Hortense isn't commonly used as a name here, and seeing it paired with Charlotte, I imagine her parents use either the French or the English pronunciation...

I was just looking for a way to explain the pronunciation, but now I see that you beat me to it. Plus, your explanation is way better than anything I had thought up, so thanks :-)
