[Opinions] Aspen
I've found myself liking Aspen lately, it's a little too trendy sounding for my usual tastes but I'm liking it a lot. I'm also liking Arden. Both on girls.WDYT of Aspen and Arden?
Hace you met any?

I love the look and sound of Aspen. I think it's just because it has some similar sounds to some of my favourite names like Isla, Elspeth, Alice....
However I don't think I would use it because I am really not keen on place and surnames as first names. I don't like Arden because it makes me think of the word "harden" and also "ardent".

I too like Aspen. I agree, it's a bit trendy, and I probably wouldn't use it, but I like it. I don't like Arden though. A bit too masculine for my liking.

I like Arden and Ardent for boys but Aspen is nice for a girl.
I wouldn't personally use them but they're nice.

I don't like either name. To me, Aspen is a ski resort in Colorado, and Arden just doesn't look feminine.

I don't care for it, it makes me think of asps, or the place, or aspirin... not too keen on Arden either, sorry, it makes me think of the make-up brand.

I mostly like Aspen on a girl and Arden on a boy, but I'd still be happy to meet a girl Arden. I've never met an Aspen or an Arden, but when I was in 8th grade I remember a few of the girls talking about how Aspen would make a cute name for a girl-- they were even 'trying it out' and saying "Come here, Aspen!" etc. That turned me off it for a while, because that made it seem too trendy/popular, but after never meeting any, it's tree-ness got the better of me and I started liking it again. :P

I think Arden sounds more like a boys' name, actually. I have met a female Aspen, though-she was in my English 101 class in college. She was quite nice. I found out later, though, that in addition to her first and last name starting with A, she also had an A middle name. Triple-A!

I can't decide if I like Aspen or not. I don't hate it, so there's that.As for Arden, I think it's a boys name. But for a boy, I love it!

I like Aspen. I agree it sounds a little trendy, but I still like it. It isn't as bad as the more "obviously trendy" names. I like Arden, but I think I prefer it on a boy. It sounds like the name of a Southern Gentleman to me.
