Sol - Swedish for sun - interesting! I'm pron. it like soul, though I suspect I'm wrong. If it is pron. like soul, then I couldn't see it working in an English setting, but it does have a nice sound and meaning

Sol rhymes with tool, a single vowel generally can't be a diphthong in Swedish.
