Freiderike (girl, 16)
Felix (boy, 13)
Joschi (not sure, 11)
Mariechen (not sure, 9)
Johann (boy, 7)
Karli (boy, 5)
Sophie (girl, 3)
Henriette (girl, 1)

Just found it interesting. She didn't say whether Joschi and Mariechen were girls or boys, but if I had to guess I'd say Joschi was a boy and Mariechen a girl. Could easily be wrong though.

I'm pretty sure Mariechen would be a girl. I think in German, putting "chen" on the end of a word means "little" or "young" (e.g. Brötchen = little bread (roll) or Hündchen = little dog) so it might just be a variation of Marie.

I like Felix, Sophia and Henriette.

I love Friederike (that's how it's usually spelt. That or Friderike. Friedericke and Fridericke are possible, too, though), Sophie, Marie and I quite like Henriette, Johann and Felix.

I'm pretty sure Freiderike is either Frederike or Friederike. I lived in Germany and met several girls with both names. Mariechen is probably a nickname for Marie or Maria. -chen is something that makes a name cute and is usually attached to the full name, it sounds more affectionate. Kind of like -ita is attached in Spanish speaking countries.

Joschi may be short for Joshua or Joscha.

The only one I like is Marie (if that's the full name).

I'm not sure re: full names vs nicknames, but I am 100% sure of the spellings of the names I listed, given that they were in a written advert. So Freiderike is spelt this way for sure.
